> **Summary:** This page lists the diagnostic devices, lasers, surgical systems and intraocular lenses Kudret Eye uses in its examination rooms and operating theatres, with the manufacturer and purpose of each. In eye surgery, the outcome depends on both the surgeon's experience and the equipment at hand.

## Diagnostic and Measurement Devices
- **KR-800 (Topcon):** Automatically measures refractive power and corneal curvature; the first reading of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.
- **CL-300 (Topcon):** Computerised lensmeter that reads the power, astigmatic axis and UV protection of existing glasses, including multifocal lenses.
- **TX-20 (Canon):** Non-contact tonometer; measures eye pressure with a brief puff of air, no drops, and warns when pressure is high.
- **Vision Screener V100 (MediWorks):** Handheld screener that measures both eyes at once from one metre for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, power difference between eyes and signs of squint; usable from six months of age to adulthood.
- **Pentacam (OCULUS):** Rotating Scheimpflug camera that builds a three-dimensional map of both corneal surfaces; used for laser suitability, lens calculation and keratoconus follow-up.
- **CA-800 (Topcon):** Corneal topographer that also measures the tear film, meibomian glands and pupil response to light.
- **iDesign Advanced WaveScan Studio (Johnson & Johnson Vision):** Records refractive error at over 1,200 points, corneal topography and pupil metrics in one scan; the map guides the excimer laser.
- **iTrace (Tracey Technologies):** Splits total refractive error into corneal and lens parts; helps decide between laser and lens replacement and when choosing a trifocal lens.
- **SP-1P (Topcon):** Specular microscope that counts corneal endothelial cells, which do not regenerate, to predict how much strain surgery will place on the cornea.
- **DRI OCT Triton (Topcon):** Swept-source OCT with a 1,050 nm wavelength that images retinal layers down to the choroid and also yields a colour fundus photo; used for macular disease, glaucoma and diabetic changes.
- **SPECTRALIS HRA+OCT (Heidelberg Engineering):** Combines confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy with OCT; angiography and autofluorescence on the same machine.
- **CF-60DSi (Canon):** Fundus camera with a 60-degree field for the retina, macula and optic nerve; also performs fluorescein angiography.
- **Humphrey Field Analyzer (ZEISS):** Maps the visual field; cornerstone of glaucoma diagnosis and follow-up, detecting loss years before the patient notices.
- **ZEISS IOLMaster 700 (ZEISS):** Optical biometer measuring axial length, corneal curvature, anterior chamber depth and lens thickness before lens surgery, with a full-length OCT section to verify the measurement point.
- **ZEISS IOLMaster 500 (ZEISS):** Long-standing reference optical biometer for intraocular lens calculation; contact-free.

## Lasers
- **ZEISS VisuMax 800 (ZEISS):** Femtosecond laser for ReLEx SMILE PRO; removes a lenticule through a 2-4 mm incision without a flap, cutting in under 10 seconds per eye with eye tracking.
- **ZEISS VISUMAX 500 (ZEISS):** Femtosecond laser on which ReLEx SMILE was developed; flapless lenticule removal with a gentle suction ring and curved interface.
- **IntraLase iFS 150 kHz (Johnson & Johnson Vision):** First step of iLASIK; creates a 100 % blade-free flap in seconds at the set thickness and shape.
- **FEMTO LDV Z8 (Ziemer):** Mobile femtosecond laser for corneal and cataract surgery; raises flaps, opens the lens capsule and fragments the lens.
- **VISX STAR S4 IR Excimer (Johnson & Johnson Vision):** Second step of iLASIK; reshapes the cornea with micron precision and infrared eye tracking, wavefront-guided with iDesign data.

## Surgical Systems and Microscopes
- **ZEISS OPMI Lumera T (ZEISS):** Surgical microscope for cataract and lens surgery; red-reflex illumination highlights lens and capsule edges.
- **CONSTELLATION Vision System (Alcon):** Retinal and vitreoretinal surgery system that balances intraocular pressure automatically, controls cutter speed and suction independently and has built-in laser ports.
- **Centurion Vision System (Alcon):** Phaco platform for cataract and multifocal lens surgery; active fluid management keeps eye pressure stable for shorter, gentler surgery.
- **WHITESTAR SIGNATURE PRO (Johnson & Johnson Vision):** Phacoemulsification system that senses occlusion to protect eye pressure and switches between peristaltic and venturi pumps.
- **Leica M841 (Leica Microsystems):** Surgical microscope with APO OptiChrome optics and OttoFlex illumination for an even red reflex, giving surgeon and assistant the same image.

## Intraocular Lenses
- **TECNIS Odyssey (Johnson & Johnson Vision):** Multifocal lens for near, intermediate and far vision as one continuous range.
- **Clareon PanOptix (Alcon):** Trifocal lens dividing light between three distances; Clareon material reduces glistenings and surface haze over the years.
- **TECNIS PureSee (Johnson & Johnson Vision):** EDOF lens giving distance and intermediate vision as one continuous range, with a smooth surface without diffractive rings.
- **Clareon Vivity (Alcon):** EDOF lens that uses a very small central step to stretch the focus zone without diffractive rings.
- **RayOne Galaxy (Rayner):** Trifocal lens with a continuous spiral surface instead of stepped rings; arrives preloaded in its injector.
- **EVO ICL (STAAR Surgical):** Collamer lens placed behind the iris while the natural lens stays; no corneal tissue is removed and it can be taken out if needed.
