Every year patients from the UK and across Europe travel to Kudret Göz İstanbul for laser eye surgery, lens replacement and ICL. Kudret Göz İstanbul is a medical centre licensed and supervised by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health, and our international patient services are part of the national HealthTürkiye programme.
This page explains what the trip looks like: what the price includes, how many nights you need, how the week runs and where you stay.
One fixed price
What's included
The package price covers everything below. It does not change after you arrive, and nothing is paid in advance.
Airport transfers
Private round-trip transfers from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen (SAW).
Private room in the hospital
You stay in a private patient room inside our hospital, close to your doctor.
Three meals a day
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served during your stay.
Interpreter
An interpreter stays in touch throughout your visit, so you are never left on your own.
All examinations and tests
The full set of eye measurements and the consultation with your surgeon.
Medication and eye drops
Every drop and medicine you need after surgery.
Post-operative checks
Your follow-up examinations before you fly home.
No prepayment
Nothing is paid before you arrive; you pay after your examination confirms the treatment.
How long will I stay?
The number of nights depends on the treatment. Your accommodation for these nights is included in the price.

If the examination shows that surgery is not suitable for you, the operation is not performed and the package price does not apply. You only pay for the examination, the tests carried out, the airport transfer and the nights you actually stayed.
How the week works
An example week for lens surgery, from landing to flying home. Laser treatment follows the same start and finishes a day earlier.

Sunday · Arrival
We meet you at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen in a private vehicle and bring you to the hospital. If you land early, the rest of the day is yours to see the city.

Monday morning · Examination
Around 09:30 we run the full set of eye tests. At about 10:00 the doctor goes through the results with you: lens choice, how the operation works, and what your vision is expected to look like afterwards.

Monday afternoon · First eye
If your eyes are suitable, the first eye is operated on the same afternoon. You leave with every drop and medicine you will need.

Tuesday · Check, then second eye
In the morning the operated eye is examined. The second eye is operated in the afternoon.

Wednesday · Final check and home
A last examination with all the necessary tests, and you are free to fly home that evening. You are welcome to stay an extra night if you would prefer one more look.

Laser treatment · One day shorter
Both eyes are treated on Monday afternoon in a single session. The check is on Tuesday morning and you can fly home that evening.
