Examination and treatment approach

Every patient’s journey starts with a detailed eye examination: visual acuity, eye pressure, cornea and retina assessment and any imaging tests are completed in the same visit. The treatment decision is based on these measurements, the patient’s age, the distances they rely on most in daily life and their general health; the options, expected results and possible risks are discussed together with the patient. When surgery is needed, pre-operative preparation and post-operative check-ups are followed by the same team.

In practice since 1998 and with more than 38,000 cases, Dr. Özdil works at Kudret Eye İstanbul within the Kudret Eye group. Speaking English, Dr. Özdil also manages the examination and treatment process of patients coming from abroad.
