Are you dreaming of getting rid of your glasses or lenses? Modern medicine offers great solutions for vision problems, and ReLEx SMILE laser eye surgery is one of them. This method is known for providing rapid recovery with very little intervention, especially in the treatment of myopia and astigmatism. Turkey, a worldwide name in eye health, offers the opportunity to access this advanced technology with both quality service and affordable costs. At this point, the relex smile eye surgery in Turkey option, which many people prefer, increases your quality of life by combining with the expertise of experienced centers such as Kudret Eye İstanbul. In this article, we will summarize what ReLEx SMILE PRO is, why Türkiye is an attractive option, and the process at Kudret Eye İstanbul.
ReLEx SMILE PRO (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) happens to be a third-generation laser eye surgery that is performed without making a flap in the cornea. This feature stands as the single most differentiating factor we can cite from the LASIK method. So, how does it work? A thin, personalized lenticule (disc-shaped tissue) is created inside the cornea with a femtosecond laser. Then, this lenticule is removed from a tiny incision of only 2-4 mm on the corneal surface. In this way, the structure of the cornea is preserved to the maximum extent. This method is a great advantage, especially for those at risk of dry eyes or those who do not get along with contact lenses. The healing process is also generally faster and more comfortable.
So why is ReLEx SMILE PRO eye surgery in Turkey so popular? Turkey has become an important center for health tourism, especially eye surgery. The main reasons for this are the international experience of Turkish eye surgeons, the state-of-the-art technological infrastructure of hospitals like Kudret Eye İstanbul, and, of course, the cost advantage compared to Europe and America. It is possible to receive treatment at more affordable prices without compromising on quality. Moreover, there is the opportunity to take a short vacation while receiving treatment in a historical city like Istanbul. Kudret Eye İstanbul organizes this process for you from beginning to end, providing a comfortable experience.
This holistic approach offered by Türkiye is really attractive for those considering ReLEx SMILE PRO surgery. Having access to both advanced technology and experienced doctors, and doing this without shaking your budget, is a big plus. Kudret Eye İstanbul makes the treatment process as easy and stress-free as possible with the comprehensive packages it offers, especially for its international patients. After all, while you want the best for your eye health, it is important for the process to be comfortable.
When you decide to have a ReLEx smile eye surgery in Turkey, experience at Kudret Eye İstanbul, a patient-centered and meticulous process awaits you. Everything starts with the first contact we establish with you. Our expert consultants answer all your questions. The first step is a detailed preliminary interview and then a comprehensive eye examination. At this stage, the All Eye Tests performed determine whether you are a suitable candidate for ReLEx SMILE PRO. Our surgeons, who are experts in their field, meet with you one-on-one, evaluate your test results, and provide information about the operation.
After your eligibility is approved, the surgery day is planned. The surgery itself is quite short, takes 5-10 minutes in total, and is generally painless. Your eyes are numbed with drops. Kudret Eye İstanbul’s ReLEx SMILE PRO package (£995 per eye) includes many additional services in addition to the surgery. This way, you can focus solely on your treatment. Here are some important services included in the package:
One of the most popular aspects of ReLEx SMILE PRO surgery is the quick recovery. Most patients would feel an instantaneous improvement in their vision immediately after the procedure. It usually takes about three days for your vision to clear up and feel stable. Some ups and downs during this period are normal. Make sure to follow your doctor's post-op instructions closely, especially when it comes to using your eye drops. Do not rub your eyes. Do not shower for the first 24 hours; for the first week do not let water, soap or shampoo get directly into the eyes; avoid swimming pools and the sea for about 20 days. Most people can return to their daily activities after the check-up the next day. This is truly a great comfort.
During the recovery process, the eyes may feel slightly dry. Although ReLEx SMILE PRO reduces the risk of dry eyes, artificial tear drops recommended by your doctor may help you relax. The experts at Kudret Eye İstanbul closely monitor the entire process and aim to prevent potential problems from the very beginning. As for the long-term results, ReLEx SMILE PRO aims to permanently correct myopia and astigmatism. Clinical studies have shown that this method offers stable and reliable results in the long term. The clear vision obtained is usually permanent.
Of course, as with any medical intervention, there may be minimal risks, but in experienced centers like Kudret Eye İstanbul, with expert surgeons and the latest technology, these risks are minimized. The offered ReLEx SMILE PRO package, at £995 per eye, includes not only the surgery, but also this long-term assurance and quality follow-up. This is a valuable investment that will improve your quality of life by getting rid of the restrictions of glasses or lenses. In short, with relex smile eye surgery in Turkey in Kudret Eye İstanbul, looking at the world more clearly is now much easier and more accessible.
